My Top 10 Ted Talks (Eng)

Two years ago I came across TEDtalks website while I was preparing for my TOEFL exam, and have made a habit of watching their videos at least once a week ever since. So, until now I have watched quite a number of TED videos, including some of the recommendations from this link.

What interesting is I haven't found any of their videos uninformative, outdated or even boring. All of them are educating and many are so inspiring that will change your way of thinking forever. Some talks presented new discoveries, some reinstated current issues in order to seek attention, and quite many of them simply shared thoughts and ideas given by numerous experts from various fields. TEDtalks cover all topics of interest, e.g. Education, Technology, Science & Medicine, Arts, Business, Culture, Global Issues, even Entertainment. Hence, there's always something for everyone.
Watching TEDtalks is like openning a box of knowledge where you find another box inside, and after you curiously open this one, there inside waits another box to be explored...and again more boxes... enless number of boxes waiting for a curious mind to open them.

I can say that I have never gotten bored of these boxes of knowledge and I'd be happy to pass them around for the sake of learning.
So, here are my favourite TEDtalks videos; ten of which I have watched more than twice and every single time still got inspired by them.

1. Ken Robinson: Do schools kill creativity? (2006)

2. Ken Robinson: Bring on the learning revolution! (2010)

3. Ken Robinson: How to escape education's death valley (2013)

4. Zainab Salbi: Women, wartime and the dream of peace (2010)

5. Esther Perel: Rethinking infidelity ... a talk for anyone who has ever loved (2015)

6. Janine di Giovanni: What I saw in the war (2013)

7. Alexander Betts: Why Brexit happened -- and what to do next (2016)

8. Stephen Petranek: Your kids might live on Mars. Here's how they'll survive (2016)

9. Monica Lewinsky: The price of shame (2015)

10. Juno Mac: The laws that sex workers really want (2016)

Thanks for reading, and go ahead & explore your boxes of knowledge!!
